Noah & the Whale hold on to the #1 spot this week with their single, "Tonight's the Kind of Night" for a second consecutive week. They're followed by Lady Gaga at #2 for a second week with "The Edge of Glory". Katy Perry moves into the top 5 gaining 5 points up from #8 of last week to #3 this week with her latest hit, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". Rounding out the top 5 at #4 is Coldplay with "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" up 2 from #6, and The Cars "Sad Song" at #5 down 2 from #3 of last week.
The rest of the top 20 see mostly incremental changes of 1, 2 or 3 points for most songs going up, and the usual drops for some seasoned veterans.
Two songs make their chart debut. The first is by Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera. It's called "Moves Like Jagger" and makes its chart entry at #19. Debuting at #20 is the latest track off Dengue Fever's Cannibal Courtship album. It's called "Uku" coming in at #20. Dengue Fever is still in the top 10 with "Cement Slippers", a former #1 track at #7.
Last week we forgot to include The Cars' "Sad Song" in the list of #1 songs. It is corrected below.
