CHART NOTES

In only 2 short weeks Martin Solveig & Dragonette's international dance track moves from #19 to #7 to this week's new #1 song. The song has been a regular mainstay of the dance chart for several months and is now a hit on this chart. The single replaces Dengue Fever's "Cement Slippers" which slip from #1 to #2 after a five week stay at the top.

Breaking into the top 5 is "L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N." by Noah & the Whale, moving from #6 to #5. It's a great little song from the same people that brought you "5 Years Time" back in 2008. They took that to #1 on this chart.

Elsewhere, Lady GaGa moves from #19 to #12 with her latest, "Judas".

The only debut song this week is "Sad Song" by The Cars, a comeback single featuring most of the original line-up of the hot 1980s group. They are well known for the hits "Just What I Needed," "You Might Think," "Magic", "Shake It Up" and "You Are The Girl" from the late 1970s and 1980s. Good to see them on the chart again.
