CHART NOTES
Got a change at #1. Churchill's debut single "Change" finally makes it to #1 after a two week pit stop at #2. For me this is my current, most played song so far of 2013. Good song, not getting that much airplay but still good. The group has two videos for this. Check them out.
Of Monsters and Men climbs up one to #2 this week with "Little Talks". The track is more than a year old, but only now has it found its place on the Weekly Top 20.
Another old track making it into the top 10 this week is "I Will Wait" from Mumford and Sons. The group just won the Grammy for album of the year... Babel. This is one of the best tracks off that album. It charted mostly in 2012 but only now has it made its stride for 2013, checking in at #8 this week.
Chalk one up for longevity: The Lumineers' track "Ho Hey" has spent the past 24+ weeks bouncing up and down this chart. Several weeks ago it looked like "Ho Hey" would get the "heave ho" as it sunk to #16 on the chart after peaking at #3 in December. Over the past few weeks however, "Ho Hey" has inched its way back up the top 20 making it once again into the top 10 at #10 this week... and that's up from #11 of last week.
Only one song makes a first week entry into the Weekly Top 20. That song is the latest by Bruno Mars.... "When I Was Your Man" checks in at #20.
