Rihanna holds at #1 with "Diamonds" for a 2nd week on the Weekly Top 20. She is followed at #2 byBruno Mars and his latest hit "Locked Out of Heaven" up one from #3 of last week. Dropping to #3 from #2 is Maroon 5's former #1 hit "One More Night". Holding at #4 for for a 4th consecutive week is Adeleand her theme song from the latest James Bond 007 movie "Skyfall". New to the top 5 this week we findThe Lumineers "Ho Hey" who have inched up the charts over the past weeks only to bolt 3 up from last week's #8 to #5 this week.

Just below the top 5 we find Ellie Goulding also moving up 3 points from #9 to #6 with her latest hit "Anything Could Happen". New to the top 10 this week is Maroon 5 with their third single off the albumOverexposed called "Daylight" up 2 from #11 to #9 this week. Moving up 4 points from #14 to #10 is "Carry On" by Fun, the third single off their latest album Some Nights, the title song which hit #1 this past summer.

New debuts this week include "Christmas in the Sand" by Colbie Caillat at #19, "Tornado" by Little Big Town at #18 and "Madness" by Muse at #18.

The Lumineers are an American folk rock band based in Denver, Colorado. The core band consists of Wesley Schultz on guitar and lead vocals, Jeremiah Fraites on drums, percussion, mandolin and vocals, and Neyla Pekarek on cello, mandolin, piano, and vocals, with added musicians for tours.^[1][2] Their self-titled debut album was released on Dualtone Records on April 3, 2012, peaking at number 11 on the Billboard 200 chart.

CHART NOTES:

Rihanna moves into the #1 position with her latest single "Diamonds", knocking Maroon 5's "One More Night" from the top spot after staying there for 7 non-consecutive weeks. 

"Diamonds" is Rihanna's first #1 song on the top 20 since 2008's "Disturbia". We'll see how long she can stay on the top. "Diamonds" could be the last song to top the chart this year.

Just below that we find Bruno Mars lurking at #3 up from #5 of last week with "Locked Out of Heaven". Dropping on the top 5 are Maroon 5 and "One More Night" at #2, and Cher Lloyd with "Want U Back" at #5 down from last week's peak at #2. Adele holds at #4 with "Skyfall" for another week.

Ellie Goulding breaks into the top 10 for the first time ever at #9 with her latest hit "Anything Could Happen". The song is her follow-up to the late blooming hit "Lights" which never made it to this chart. Her first charted single here was a cover of Elton John's "Your Song" which made it into the top 20 last year.

New on the top 20 are "Anna Sun" by Walk The Moon at #20 and "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men at #19.

CHART NOTES:

The number one spot is held once again this week by Maroon 5. It is the 7th week at the top spot for "One More Night" which in a way ties the 7 weeks that Train had at #1 earlier this year with "Drive By". The only diffrence is that Train's #1 song held on to the top spot for 7 consecutive weeks whereas Maroon 5's "One More Night" held the top spot for 3 weeks back in September, falling to #2 and #3 shortly after and then coming back to #1 on October 28 where it has been for the last 4 weeks. 3 + 4 = 7. The bigger question is, will Train's "Drive By" be my top song of the year or will it be "One More Night" by Maroon 5? That remains to be seen.

Also in the top 5.... Cher Lloyd holds at #2 for a second week with "What U Back" as does Adele, holding at #4 with "Skyfall," the latest James Bond 007 movie theme. New in the top 5 are Rihanna at #3 with "Diamonds" up from #7 last week and Bruno Mars at #5 with "Locked Out Of Heaven," up from #9 last week.

New in the top 10 is Tristan Prettyman and her debut single "My Oh My". The song has been climbing the chart a few points at a time for several weeks now, and breaks into the 10 at #9 up from #11. It has apparently put a stall mark on The Lumineers' debut sing "Ho Hey" as that song remains at #10 for a second week.

Fastest moving song in the top 20 this week belongs to Maroon 5! Their latest single "Daylight" moves up from last week's debut spot of #19 to #13. This is a good year for the band who is still on the chart with the #1 song "One More Night" and who peaked at #1 earlier this year with "Payphone". All 3 songs appear on their latest album Overexposed.

Big droppers this week include "It's Only Life" by The Shins down from #13 to #18 and "Spectrum" by Florence + the Machine, tumbling from #8 to #17. Looks like both songs are on their way out.

Two debut songs round up the top 20. At #19 we find "I Could Be A King" by a group called The Dunwells and an album track from Train called "Mermaid" at #20 which should be issued as a single.

Maroon 5 gets another week at #1. This is their 6th non-consecutive week at the top for the smash hit "One More Night". Cher Lloyd is hot on their heals with "Want U Back" moving up from #4 to #2. Not too far behind is Adeleand her James Bond 007 theme "Skyfall" checking in at #4, up 2 from last week's #6.

Fastest moving single up the top 20 is Bruno Mars' "Locked Out Of Heaven" that leaps from last week's debut spot of #18 to #9 this week.

The Lumineers' make it into the top 10 @ #10 with their debut hit "Ho Hey". Good song.

Debut singles this week include Maroon 5's "Daylight" at #19 and Fun's "Carry On" at #20.

CHART NOTES:

Maroon 5 holds at #1 for another week with "One More Night". This is the song that climbed back into the #1 spot after being out of it for 5 weeks. Previous to that "One More Night" was #1 for 3 weeks. Now with its 2nd consecutive week at #1 in this second go-round, the total weeks that this hit has spent at #1 is now 5 weeks. Can it hold on for another week? Come back next week!

The top 5 positions stay the same as they were last week with Taylor Swift, The Noisettes, Cher Lloyd andPSY all holding their own at 2, 3, 4 and 5 following Maroon 5 with their respective hits.

Moving up from #10 to #6 this week we find Adele and the Jame Bond them song "Skyfall".

New to the top 10 this week is Rihanna and "Diamonds". That track climbs 4 points moving up from #12 to #8 this week. Sounds like it could be a top 5 hit to me.

Two songs make their debut this week. At #18 we find the latest by Bruno Mars called "Locked Out Of Heaven". That track is already in the top 10 on several other charts. Also new at #19 we find A Fine Frenzy and their latest "Now is the Start" from their latest album Pines.
