CHART NOTES:

The Black Keys hold at #1 with "Fever" for a second week. Biggest gainer is by First Aid Kit as their track "My Silver Lining" leaps from its #19 debut of last week to #9 this week. It's a great song. I love it.

CHART NOTES:

The chart resumes... again, and with a new song at #1. The Black Keys top the chart for the first time ever with their track "Fever". The song is from their latest album Turn Blue. It jumps from #7 to #1 after spending 4 weeks going up several positions at a time.

Pharrell Williams' "Happy" held the #1 spot for the past 8 weeks, and in the history of this chart, is the longest run for any song to hold on to the top spot. The track is likely to be the top song for 2014. We'll see.

Plenty of other new songs at various positions on the chart since the last update back in May. I am trying to resume regular updates to the chart, but other circumstances in my life have been more of a priority lately. Granted, I am still keeping track of popular songs in my collection internally even though a weekly chart may not be posted.
