CHART NOTES

Ellie Goulding holds at #1 for a second week with "Anything Could Happen". Also holding for a second week at #2 is Fun with "Carry On" the latest single from their album Some NightsTaylor Swift moves to the #3 spot with "I Knew You Were Trouble". Who will be at #1 next week? Can Ellie hold for a 3rd week or will Taylor leap-frog over Fun and take #1? Or will they all stay the same? Check this chart again next week.

Zach Sobiech's "Clouds" moves up 2 and into the top 10 at #10. The song's video has surpassed a million YouTube views, yet still lacks mainstream radio airplay despite being mentioned in numerous publications.

Three songs debut this week. They include Carrie Underwood's "Two Black Cadillacs" at #18, Anuhea's latest single "Mr. Mellow" at #19 and a K-Pop single called "Ice Cream" from Korean artist Hyuna at #20.

CHART NOTES

Ellie Goulding tops the chart at the start of a new year with "Anything Could Happen". The single climbs up from #2 to #1. Will it stay there or will Fun (up to #2 with "Carry On") or Taylor Swift take #1?

Taylor Swift moves into the top 5 with "I Knew You Were Trouble" up from #10 to #5.

Elsewhere in the top 20 we find Of Monsters and Men as well as Prince breaking into the top 10 with the tracks "Little Talks" at #9 and "Rock n Roll Love Affair" at #10. Both moved up 2 positions from their previous rankings.

Zach Sobiech's, "Clouds" moves up to #12 from last week's #14. Zach is dying from cancer. Hopefully this song will become a huge hit before he passes. Read more about Zach at the song's YouTube video link.

As we enter the new year we find that there are no new songs entering the chart this week. We'll be back next year to see what's new.
